A website for your pizzeria
A pizzeria doesn't need a beautiful website. It needs one that answers the person standing at six on a Friday with a phone in their hand, deciding where to eat: what you make, what it costs, whether you're open, and how to get there. The rest comes later.
Who is looking, and when
A pizzeria's traffic isn't spread out. It piles into the hour before service, on a phone, often on a poor signal, and the decision takes under two minutes. Whoever is reading isn't exploring your site — they're looking for a reason to pick you over the place three hundred yards away.
The four answers
- What you make. Neapolitan, wood-fired, collection, delivery. One line, at the top.
- What it costs. The menu, with prices, as text. No "price on request".
- Are you open? Worked out live, including a split service.
- How do I get there? A button that opens the maps app, not an address to copy out.
And the commission
The second reason to own an address is money. On a £28 order a delivery platform keeps between £4 and £8. On your own site you pay card fees, around sixty pence. Run it with your own numbers.
What you get
Free on a super-pizza.app address: menu, hours, map, Google reviews, photos, all editable from your phone. £19 a month: your own domain and direct ordering, with no commission on any order, cancel any month.
