Build your pizzeria website in Basingstoke
Most pizzeria advice assumes your week is a Friday night with a bit either side. Basingstoke is not shaped like that. The business parks along the ring road put real money on the table at lunchtime on a Wednesday, in orders of fifteen and twenty, and that is a trade the apps handle badly and your own site handles well.
The office order is the best order you take
One delivery, one payment, a slot agreed in advance, a ticket worth two hundred pounds rather than twenty-two, and a customer who will do it again next month if it went well. Run that through a marketplace and you hand over a percentage of the largest order of your week, along with the contact details of the person who placed it.
On your own page it is straightforward: let people choose a time, take the payment, keep the email address, and follow up the week before the next team day. None of that is clever. It is just impossible on a channel that owns the customer relationship instead of you.
The estates are separate markets
This is a town of named estates with their own parades: Chineham, Popley, Brighton Hill, Hatch Warren, Winklebury, and Old Basing which does not think of itself as an estate at all. Nobody searching for dinner types the town name. Put the neighbourhood in your page title, put exactly the same words on your Google Business listing, and link the two.
Evenings are ordinary, and that is an advantage
Because a large part of your revenue can come from hours your competitors ignore, you do not have to win the crowded Friday fight to have a good week. Publish accurate lunchtime hours, make collection genuinely quick for someone with a forty-minute break, and let the apps keep the late trade they are good at.
