A website for your pizzeria
A pizzeria doesn’t need a beautiful website. It needs one that answers the person on the couch at six on a Friday, phone in hand, deciding on dinner: what you make, what it costs, whether you’re open, and how to get it. The rest can wait.
Who’s looking, and when
A pizzeria’s traffic isn’t spread across the day. It piles into the hour before dinner, on a phone, and the decision takes under two minutes. Whoever is reading isn’t exploring your site. They’re looking for a reason to pick you over the place two blocks down, or over the chain with the big app.
The four answers
- What you make. New York slices, Detroit squares, wood-fired Neapolitan, pickup, delivery. One line, at the top.
- What it costs. The menu, with prices, as text. No “call for prices.”
- Are you open? Worked out live, including late nights and the Monday you close.
- How do I get it? A button that opens the maps app, and an order button that doesn’t send them to DoorDash.
And the commission
The second reason to own your address is money. On a $30 delivery order an app on a 25 or 30% plan keeps $7.50 to $9. On your own site you pay card processing, around a dollar. Here’s the full math.
What you get
Free on a super-pizza.app address: menu, hours, map, Google reviews, photos, all editable from your phone. $19 a month, plus applicable sales tax: your own domain and direct ordering, with no commission on any order. Cancel any month.
